Roche installs a Genome Sequencer FLX system in Australia.
External Press Release Author 11/06/2007 12:14:56

Roche Diagnostics has launched the second generation of its high throughput sequencing technology, the Genome Sequencer FLX System.

Expanding upon the proven GS 20 System, over 100 million bases can be generated per 7.5-hour instrument run, with reads averaging 200 to 300 bases - ideal for a wide range of applications including amplicon resequencing, transcriptome analysis, gene regulation studies, and comparative genome sequencing.

Australia's largest genomics services company, the Australian Genome Research Facility, has the first Roche Genome Sequencer FLX system in Australia.

AGRF's acquisition of the Genome Sequencer FLX will complement current Sanger-based sequencing and bioinformatics services to deliver cutting edge sequencing technology to the Australian genomics research and industry sectors.

Please contact Tony Feneziani on 0448 864 095 for details of the services that AGRF offers.
