Best ceramic water bottles: Frank Green named one of the world’s coolest retailers as two new stores arrive in Australia

When it comes to trending water bottles, there’s one name that comes out on top every time.

It is, of course, frank green — the brand we have to thank for colourful ceramic bottles in a wide range of shapes and sizes.

Spotted inside cars, on desks and even lugged too and from gym sessions and Pilates classes, they have risen to cult status across the country, and have even won awards for their innovative design.

Extending beyond bottles into drinkware, foodware and even pets essentials, shoppers can now get their hands on the best-sellers inside two brick and mortar stores.

Previously they were only available instore at a variety of stockists (like David Jones and Rebel Sport), but now there’s two flagship stores, one at Melbourne Central, and the other Westfield Bondi Junction.

And these two immersive destinations have earned the brand global recognition, officially declared as one of 2025 World’s Coolest Retailers.

Bringing an interactive experiences to their loyal fan base, shoppers can mix and match to create bespoke bottles and cups, on-the-spot monogramming with names and emojis, and even drop off old bottles for recycling.

Bondi Junction was the first store to mark frank green’s arrival in Sydney.

Shoppers can browse through the bright coloured bottles and sought-after containers, inside a unique space crafted from 1500 ceramic resuable bottles.

Made from 95 per cent recycled stainless steel, it’s easily spotted when venturing round Westfield, and is home to all the best-selling resuable cups.

While over in Melbourne, the brand designed the new space in collaboration with award-winning Pattern Studio.

This summer, Aussies are busy stocking up on the Iced Coffee Cup with Straw ($54.95) to make their only iced brews at home.

And the To Go Bowls ($19.95) are also proving popular since they are the perfect size for fruit, veggies and yoghurt pots — designed for days commuting to the office.

For those meal prepping hot or cold meals, the Insulated Food Container ($45.95) helps keep food at the right temperature for hours — perfecting for soups, pasta or heavier meals during the winter.

Calling anyone who likes to have their lunches neatly separated this Lunch Container ($79.95) has multiple compartments for portioning out balanced meals, and looks far more elevated than your average lunchbox.
