It’s the cult Aussie brand known for its bedding, super-soft robes and design-led home essentials.
And now, Hommey is making a move into dinnerware for the first time.
Launching today (Tuesday 6 October), the range extends the Hommey world to the heart of the home, bringing the brand’s signature comfort and considered design to the dining table.

The launch spans stoneware ceramics, cutlery and napery — dinner and side plates, pasta and breakfast bowls, dip and serving bowls, mugs, round platters, napkin rings, napkins, tablecloths and tea towels — offered across a considered palette of colourways inspired by some of the most iconic Hommey colour combinations.
Think warm neutrals like Butter and Caramel to statement tones including Boysenberry and Capri.

As with every Hommey category before it, the collection has been designed to be mixed, matched and enjoyed together across the table, just as customers already do with the brand’s robes, bedding and towels at home.
Whether you prefer to make a statement with your colour choices with two clashing shades or you prefer something more neutral, there’s something for everyone.
Hommey’s dinnerware is guided by the same philosophy that has underpinned the brand since 2020: design-led comfort, made accessible.
The collection is handmade from ceramic stoneware, stainless steel and 100 per cent cotton, off ering genuinely good design, with each piece bringing a little more colour and character to the everyday.
It’s backed by everyday durability, including dishwasher and microwave safe pieces.

Hommey founder Justin Kestelman says the table was the natural next chapter for the brand.
“We think the table has become a forgotten part of the home — a place that can bring so much joy, creativity and personality to everyday life, and somewhere along the way, we stopped treating it that way,” he explains.
“We built Hommey on the idea that comfort shouldn’t be something you save for best — robes, bedding, towels, and now the table, it’s all the same philosophy — design that’s actually made for the way people live.
“But the table’s the one room built for other people, and entertaining turned into a performance instead of a celebration — the matching napkins, the good plates too nice to actually use.”
Justin adds: “We wanted to bring the joy back to it, because a table where people gather, mix colours and pass plates around is where connection and community actually happen.
“Whether it’s Tuesday night pasta or Saturday night dinner with friends, we want every setting to feel a little more special. This is tableware designed to bring more life to the everyday, and more joy to the moments we share.”

Ceramic highlights from the collection include the Serving Bowl in Boysenberry ($70), the Serving Platter in Butter ($70) and the cute little Mugs in Capri.
I’m also obsessed with the Table Cloth in Espresso ($119) as well as all of the Tea Towels and cutlery.
Pricing starts from $19 for a tea towel and $25 for a mug, with dinner plates from $60 for a pack of two, up to $119 for a tablecloth.
Many of the items are likely to go straight to the top of shoppers’ Christmas wish lists.
