When cult Aussie brand MAISON de SABRÉ unveiled its flagship bag, the Palais, a year ago, it arrived with much fanfare after it had been 10 years in the making.
And now, in 2026, the Mini Palais is here, taking the luxury brand’s flagship launch in to something more playful: think colour-blocking, charms, interchangeable handles and basically every excuse possible to accessorise your accessory.
The Mini Palais, which launched this month for $799, has all of the features you know and love from MAISON de SABRÉ’s acclaimed Palais bag.

But it now comes in a smaller, irresistibly scaled-down version, which has been designed to feel as covetable in the hand as it looks on the arm.
So what do you need to know about the new silhouette?
The Mini Palais keeps the sculptural curves and signature leatherwork of the original, while bringing a youthful, more expressive attitude to the Palais family.
“The Mini Palais may have inherited the codes of the original icon, but it confidently carries its own distinctive personality that is uncompromising,” says Omar Sabré, Co-Founder and Creative Director of MAISON de SABRÉ.
“We wanted to craft an expression of duality, through colours, through materials, through sculptural form and softness, and through mood.”
Designed for all occasions – from everyday carry to evenings, weekends and celebrations, the Mini Palais translates the signature codes of The Palais into fresh proportions, bold dual-tone colour statements and more unexpected ways to personalise.
Perhaps the most exciting element of the new bag is the ability to personalise and have multiple different bags in one.
At the centre of the design is a new bi-functional magnetic flap closure that allows the dual-tone editions to transform between expressions.
Secured inside the bag, it creates a sleek monochromatic exterior while allowing subtle contrast details to remain visible: a statement dual-tone handle with contrast piping, a contrasting mid-seam at the gusset, and a decadent monochromatic suede interior.
Folded across the front, the it transforms the bag into a full bi-colour statement, bringing the contrast colour boldly into view.
The intention is not to choose between one version or the other. It is to have both.
Alongside, this, rather than clipping your charms onto the leather, the Mini Palais has dedicated links specifically for charms and styling pieces.
It is also able to be carried either by its top handle, on the shoulder or cross-body, even further multiplying its uses.
“The Mini Palais is about the freedom to be this and that,” says Sabré.
“You can express your most confident self and your more reserved self, your polish and your playfulness – but it is always you.”

Like all MAISON de SABRÉ bags, it is crafted from the highest possible materials.
Crafted from luxurious European DriTan calf leather, dual-tone editions feature a contrasting interior, contrast piping on the handles, a two-tone gusset seam and reversible magnetic flap closure, shifting from sleek to statement-making in a single movement.
Dedicated charm links allow SABRÉMOJI charms and handles to be added to the bag for new styling combinations.
I particularly love the suede-lined interior, which has a key clip, slip pocket, zipped pocket and card slot — as this all means you can carry everything from your iPhone Pro Max to your wallet, sunglasses, keys and daily essentials.
At present, there are six colours, including Candy Pink/Plum Red, Foam White/Brick Red and Poppy Red to choose between, along with an infinte number of charms you can pair it with.
