The boxing tournament at 2024 Paris Olympics will include 13 different weight categories (7 men’s and 6 women’s) that athletes can medal in, and 249 total athletes from all over the world including eight Americans. (While 249 may seem like a large number of athletes, this year’s boxing field is smaller overall than it has been in decades, though for the first time, it has reach gender parity.)
Both men and women will compete for medals in five of the same weight classes: flyweight, featherweight, lightweight, welterweight, and middleweight. Women also compete as bantamweights, while men compete in heavyweight and super heavyweight divisions as well.
You can catch every boxing match on Peacock, and select matches will air on USA, CNBC Telemundo and NBC Universo between July 27 and August 10. Many of this year’s matches will be hosted at the famous Roland-Garros Stadium, home of the French Open in tennis – and the North Paris Arena at Villepinte. We’ve got the full schedule and list of competitors so you can tune in to every match.
